French jeans workshop since 1892
4 generations of Tuffery intertwine and merge into the history of Denim in France.
The oldest French jeans manufacturer: since 1892, the TUFFERY workshop in Florac has seen its production of trousers transform and fluctuate. Long the last, the three Tuffery brothers have always fought to perpetuate the tradition of quality know-how. A true national heritage, today the TUFF’S are the oldest French jeans.
124 years of high French quality: first a manufacturer of work pants for workers at the start of the 20th century, the workshop founded by Célestin Tuffery will have 50 employees in 1950 to meet the growing demand for jeans.
Like many, the workshop was decimated by the French textile crisis. From 1985, the 3 grandsons strove to maintain this last French jeans factory on their own, without ever giving up.
Atelier Tuffery looks to the future.
Sitting on the solid foundations of its history and expertise, the redevelopment of Atelier Tuffery continues around the essential values of the brand.
